AT LAST! The 3rd Jim and Heinz DVD is finally ready and it’s a fantastic piece of work, though we would say that because we’re trying to sell it to you. Buy it and then you’ll see.
Jim and Heinz 1 : The First Five DVD
In a world containing a bezerk robot suffering from the wrong size of
memory chip, a demon mask that won’t come off, the perils of playing
super monkey ball on a building site, 27 identical people chopped up
in a bath and rondos that go on forever, two friends attempt to deal
with the real issues in their lives: waiting for a website to load and
why Heinz has never met his girlfriend.
This DVD contains the first five ‘Jim and Heinz’ films. The stories are
told using hundreds of still pictures which when coupled with the
odd little universe in which Jim and Heinz live, herald a new
development in film, comedy and the progress of the Human race
as a whole. Some recreational swearing is portrayed.
Films:
The Demon Mask
Heinz shows Jim his latest acquisition from the Internet: a mask from the
horror film ‘Demonhunter’. Jim tries the mask on and all hell breaks loose.
The Rondo Continuum
Jim and Heinz enjoy a stroll through the gardens of Vienna’s beautiful ‘Schloss
Belvedere’. They soon learn what a Rondo is and why it’s better to go one
way round it rather than another.
Zantrox
Heinz has just finished building a robot. All it needs is a 32 megabyte
flashcard chip. Enter Jim with the chip. Exit peace and order.
The Real World
Jim has had enough of Heinz continually beating him at video games, so he
arranges a little surprise which he hopes will level out the playing field.
Heinz’ Halloween Horror
Heinz finally kills Jim. Is this the end of the line for the two friends,
or will the fabric of space-time allow things to be all right again?

Jim and Heinz 2: The Next Five DVD
Mick Roads: Ilford cab driver DVD
Mick Roads is the worst minicab driver in Ilford, an outpost of northeast
London. These six films detail some of the adventures he has had in (and
out of) his cab.
Films:
‘Mick is sick’
In this adventure, Mick has unwisely combined ‘Breakfast in a tin’ with
a week-old pot noodle. The results are all too apparent for Mick’s unfortunate
city gent passenger. Starring Paul Elliott as Mick Roads and Napoleon Ryan
as the passenger.
‘Petrol’
The very first Mick film from Blunt. Mick runs out of petrol, but not before
he has regaled his unlucky passenger with his views on marriage, Brixton
and ‘eating out’
‘Mick’s Hospital job’
Mick picks up a distraught woman at a hospital and tries to cheer her up.
Results: inconclusive.
‘Mick Roads Demon Hunter’
A Pilot for a TV show that Mick reckons would be like Buffy but with more
swearing, sex and violence. No sex in the pilot, unfortunately, because
he couldn’t find a woman willing to cooperate.
‘Justice’
Mick describes to an increasingly disgusted passenger his scheme for improving
Britain’s criminal justice system.
‘Millionaire’
Mick describes to an increasingly disgusted passenger his scheme for improving
‘Who wants to be a millionaire’
(extras on this disk include deleted scenes, outtakes, audio commentaries,
‘Mick’s guide to Ilford’ and ‘The Devil’s Chase’ – a spooky Hammer-like
film loosely based on ‘The Devil Rides out’. Very loosely.)
The Best of Blunt Volume 1 DVD
We’ve finally got round to authoring and cramming a DVD with all of our
newest sketches and films
Including:
Films:
Jim and Heinz: The Rondo Continuum
Jim and Heinz enjoy a stroll through the gardens of Vienna’s beautiful ‘Schloss
Belvedere’. They soon learn what a Rondo is and why it’s better to go one
way round it rather than another.
A Rumble in the woods 3D
The Ilford Ninja has a set-to in the woods with his arch nemesis Lau Tzu.
Luckily many of their Kung Fu skills involve sticking stuff into the camera.
The Exchange
An experimental film utilising the ‘Pulfrich effect’ of 3D depth perception
via side-scrolling camera and a dark filter held up to one eye. It attempts
to be funny as well.
Charles Moon and the Epping Forest Yeti
Join paranormal investigator Charles Moon as he hunts the elusive and dangerous
Yeti of Epping Forest.
The adventures of Elvis in the 15th Dimension
Elvis gets sucked through a wormhole during a gig and has to rescue some
astronauts on a far away planet.
The Planets
As dark a story about a correctly proportioned model of the solar system
as will ever be made
Green and Brown
Mr Brown and his wife go to visit their new neighbours despite Mr Brown’s
misgivings over Mr Green’s increasingly strange behaviour.
The Old Shed Show
Alan Strongbow and his bastard son Malcolm present a show with whatever
comes to hand in their shed in the West Country. Contains fighting.
Gardens Beautiful
Marvel at the Ilford Ninja’s application of Ninjitsu to the basics of gardening.
But are his techniques as effective as he claims?
Golf Thewlis: Art on the move
Art can be fun, claims borderline psychotic Golf Thewlis. In this film he
takes to the streets and proves his point. Well, tries to.
Zero Budget Filmmaking tips
A selection of the lessons we have learned (some immoral, some illegal)
while out there with a camera and not much money.
Lau Tzu: Shaolin egg walking
Shaolin master Lau Tzu demonstrates some of his kung fu powers in the local
park, climaxing with a fearless display of egg walking.
(extras on this disk include ‘how to do 3D’ and ‘DIY squibs’, audio commentaries
and loads more)
