Night of the Living Dead: Three Act Structure.

As I’m writing a zombie film I thought it would be interesting to see how well ‘Night of the Living Dead’ fits into the Three Act Structure.

Act 1: SET UP
Barbara and her brother are attacked by a zombie whilst visiting their mother’s grave. This is the Inciting incident that propels Barbara into a nightmare situation: the dead have risen! Barbara’s brother is killed by the zombie but she escapes and runs to a nearby farm house where she meets Ben.

Act 2: CONFRONTATION

Act 3: RESOLUTION
