This is a simple but great example of one man with a camera. The exploits of Nicky Lipton as he ‘deals’ with his new single life in the fast lane – except nothing really happens. A mickey-take at those who need to expose their feelings and thoughts on camera this has 5 other entries and could well have gone on for many more.

Film Choice of the Week 04/12/09

There’s so much content out there in cyber space that sometimes you can watch hundreds of films without ever seeing anything of quality or interest. Here at Blunt Productions we’re going to pick our favourite movie (of the week) and hopefully give you something to sate your appitite for low budget movies.

Today we bring you ‘Mutilator’. The blurb describes it so, ‘a lone warrior struggles for survival in a post-apocalyptic world’ but it’s much more fun than that in a completely sick twisted way.

Mutilator

With its Beavis and Butthead animation style and extreme violence this is strangly uplifting in a visceral way. As somebody comments “It’s like something an 11-year-old boy would do if he had the ability to make animation”. My favourite moment is where Mutilator confronts a man who has just had his arm sawn off and asks “are you ok?”
