David Cameron: Pervert (test 2)

Here’s an updated David Cameron animation with added background. I’m going to workon his arms next.

David Cameron Pervert

OK so this is a test I did cutting up a few speeches David Cameron made before the election. I didn’t really know what was going to come out of it. Finally after much cutting I managed to create this 10 second clip. I added this to my character (who is still in need of a body and a background – which I will work on next).

Editing David Cameron’s speech.

Today I’ve been a editing a collection of David Cameron’s speeches for my animated character. Once I finished the track I placed it into Adobe After Effects where I began to synch it up with the mouth movements (see the blog entry on animating mouths). A useful tip is press your ‘l’ key twice, this will show you the sound wave in the time line and so make it easier to edit your mouth movements alongside it.

Check out my character so far at this blog entry

David Cameron. Floating Head Animated Gif

Having prepared my David Cameron Head I took my photoshop file over to After Effects where I made this Animated Gif (more how to do this tomorrow).

Using Photos for animation. Preparing your character.

I’m making a character using photos of a famous person: Daivid Cameron. I’ve chosen him because being elected the next British Prime Minister it should be easy to find photos of him on the internet. In the last blog entry I gathered a few pictures of Cameron to work on. Today I’ve concentrated on his face and below you can see the alterations I’ve made.

A few alterationsto make David look more pompous.

I’ve collected a selection of different mouths that I will animate tomorrow. Notice below how I have put the eyes on a seperate layer. I’ve made sure the pupils rest on a slightly off white other wise the eyes look a bit too bright.Check out the next post to see an animated Gif of David Cameron turned into a Floating Head. Using photos for animation: Character.

I’m going to make a character with photos using some of the techniques I’ve discussed in other blog enteries. You can make a character using montage or use a friend or even yourself as your basis but I’m going use photos of a famous person. I’ve decided to make Daivid Cameron into a character I can animate. It’s a good idea to choose somebody that is frequently in the news. As David Cameron has just been chosen as the next British Prime Minister it should be easy to find photos of him on the internet.

I’ll get to work showing how to construct your character/model tomorrow.

Blunt Pick: David Camerwrong

I love these type of videos where somebody cuts up a televised speech and completely fucks it up. Chris Morris is an obvious example but take a look at this fantastic re-edit of David Cameron…
